Player Created a Fully Breakable Mirage Bricks Counter-Strike 2 Map
A new creative work from Lillykyu.
Take a new look at the Valve's legendary FPS with a novel creative project by Lillykyu, who has been sharing reimagined versions of the Counter-Strike maps, blending them with other games and even software.
This time, the player presented Mirage Bricks, a creative reimagining of the classic Mirage map in CS2. This custom project transforms Mirage into a fully destructible environment. Unlike the original map, where only separate elements can be broken, Mirage Bricks allows players to destroy walls and other large structures.
Lillykyu shared that they tried to optimize the map as much as possible. Each brick has been individually named, so they could be parented to the brick below them, allowing it to detach only when shot. This setup ensures that it's only simulating the physics of one piece until it's shot apart.
