Less stuttering and more FPS.
When Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was released, players were disappointed with its poor optimization and left many angry reviews complaining about multiple issues. While EA promised to fix them soon, creator Glumboi already released a mod called May the Performance Be with You meant to improve performance and reduce stuttering.
There are different versions of the fix:
- Potato PC: Enables potato textures and changes the TAA a bit to even more boost FPS. This can improve the FPS the most.
- Normal (Potato Textures): Potato PC version without the TAA changes. A boost from 10-25 FPS depending on your system.
- Normal: Normal version of the mod without TAA and Texture changes. A boost from 5 to 20 FPS depending on your system.
- Normal 80: Normal but with a higher resolution for the TAA (Normal uses 70%). A boost ranging from 3 to 15 FPS.
This is not the first time a fan offered a solution for a disappointing performance of a highly anticipated game: the same happened to Hogwarts Legacy, which was a huge success but still suffered from stuttering and low FPS. Thankfully, there are plenty of talented people out there.
