It's hard to play, though.
While Black Myth: Wukong is conquering the gaming world, some players are experimenting with its capabilities. Thus, one fan managed to run the game on an Android smartphone.
As reported by Wccftech, the player used a phone powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and an Adreno 750 GPU. Before you rejoice, you should know that "run" doesn't mean "work well," so its performance is suffering from low FPS and high latency even in "calm" sequences without fighting, which is expected from an AAA title that isn't supposed to be played on a phone.
Surprisingly, the GPU handles the game fine, but the processor is struggling, heating up to 88C (190.4F).
Still, it's a nice proof of concept more than anything else. But with games like Assassin's Creed, Resident Evil, and Death Stranding coming to iPhones, I can see it appearing there one day as well, especially considering Black Myth: Wukong's wild popularity with over 2.2. million concurrent players on the launch day.
