Players Criticize Warzone 2's New DMZ Bundles for Their "Pay-To-Win" Features

Players have expressed dissatisfaction on social media about the pay-to-win features in the new content of Warzone 2.0 DMZ.

The third season of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Warzone 2.0 was recently launched. However, the response to the additional content in Warzone 2.0 DMZ has been unfavorable, with players having turned to social media to express their dissatisfaction with Activision for incorporating pay-to-win features.

In the new update, the DMZ mode has introduced a new feature known as "Active Duty Operator Slots" where the individual operators become active during gameplay. However, only one Active Duty slot can be used at a time, even though players start with three.

It has been discovered that players can obtain a fourth Operator slot, however, the only way to do this is by purchasing one of the new premium bundles.

Players have noted that the bundle also includes other perks that provide an advantage to those who pay for it compared to those who do not. One skin, for example, enhances the backpack of the player, enabling them to carry a greater number of items.

Additionally, data miners have discovered a bundle that will enable players to begin with a UAV, indicating that it may be available for purchase in an upcoming season.

The introduction of the new bundles has received negative feedback from the community, with many referring to them as "pay-to-win" on social media platforms such as Reddit and Twitter.

"Well, boys. It was fun while it lasted. Activision basically surpasses EA now with shameless money grabbing," one user wrote. "P2W makes this game even more meaningless."

"I don't care about the armor, but UAV is too much," another user said. "Because armor is easy to get, imagine 3 people with this skin hunting down spawn with 3 UAV's. Nah, that's not cool."

The response to the new bundles reflects a broader disappointment with Warzone 2, as many players are dissatisfied with how the sequel has unfolded. As of now, Activision and Infinity Ward have not responded to the matter and have not introduced any free alternatives for obtaining the fourth Operator slot or the exclusive advantages of the bundle.
