PlayStation 3 Emulator RPCS3 Now Supports Online Games

As the new PS4 emulator shadPS4 takes center stage, which started with the launch of commercial 3D games and progressed through running Red Dead Redemption, making then a significant breakthrough by booting and running Bloodborne on PC and the Steam Deck, another emulator is continuing to make notable advancements.

While PlayStation 3 emulation has improved significantly over the past year or two, it still has a long way to go before achieving full compatibility, with major titles like Metal Gear Solid 4 still experiencing some issues, although most games are playable. RPCS3 is arguably one of the most impressive emulators ever created, and with the recent netplay update to its companion service, RPCN, players can now enjoy many titles online with other RPCS3 users.

This list of newly working games is not complete. The RPCS3 team is still learning what new titles are compatible as users test games and share their findings, so this list will get bigger as they gather new reports.
