Plug-In For Creating Repeated Geometry In Roblox
Check out Redupe and its latest features.
If you're a Roblox creator, take a look at this new plug-in by Mark Langen, which lets you generate repeated duplicates of an object arranged in geometric patterns, much like an array modifier in 3D modeling software.
You can drag the duplication handles around your selection to add copies, adjust them using the extra handles, and fine-tune spacing or other settings directly in the viewport panel. The plug-in is open source, and contributions are welcome via the GitHub repository. See the demo below:
Redupe has just received a new update with better connection behavior. Auto ResizeAlign now supports rounded joints on cylinders and avoids joining spheres and other objects without a suitable joint. It also correctly joins the last joint when forming a full circle. Model resizing has been updated: models now use a custom Extrude behavior that stretches the model along a line intersecting its rotation axis, moving parts on either side. The developer advises using it for resizing modular elements like doors, windows, and columns.
You can find the plug-in in the Creator Store and visit the Developer Forum thread for more details.
