"Pokemon with Guns" Monster-Collecting Game Needs Network Testers

Palworld will let you catch 'em all once you help it a little.

Do you like the Pokemon franchise but think it lacks guns? Then Palworld by Pocketpair is what you need, and you have a chance to help its developers by being a network tester.

Palworld is a bizarre multiplayer game that allows you to collect various Pals (who definitely have nothing to do with Pokemon) from around the open world and equip them with missile launchers if you wish.

Then you're free to exploit your new friends by making them fight, breed, build, farm, and work in factories. At the same time, Palworld combines elements of survival and crafting games and lets you do whatever you want.

I guess that last part is what makes the game surprisingly well-liked. Players in the comments on any social media seem super excited to finally get their hands on it. No wonder: it basically has every popular mechanic there is in one game that reminds absolutely everyone of a famous series.

"This world is full of dangers such as food shortages, harsh weather, and illegal poachers. You must be prepared to do anything if you want to survive. You may even need to consume Pals sometimes..."

Palworld promises a rich field for exploration: the land, the sea, and the sky are all yours to traverse. When you breed Pals, they inherit the parents' characteristics and, of course, add more units to your workforce.

"Don't worry; labor laws won't be applied to Pals." This and the ability to eat your "friends" made me curious about Palworld. It seems like there could be a darker story hiding behind vibrant appearances and cute monsters if you let it happen. I guess I understand now why people have high hopes for the game.

Whatever your reason for liking it is, Palworld needs some network testers now to test server load, verify stability, fix problems, and improve quality. The application period ends on October 31, and the test itself takes part from November 2 to November 5. Find out more about it here.

Palworld is still in development and should be released on PC and Xbox in January 2024. Wishlist it on Steam and join our 80 Level Talent platform and our Telegram channel, follow us on InstagramTwitter, and LinkedIn, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
