Both games will be a part of the Portal: Companion Collection.
Nintendo released an announcement trailer for Portal and Portal 2, which will be a part of the Companion Collection on Switch. The games will be released in 2022.
The Collection was developed by Valve in collaboration with NVIDIA Lightspeed Studios and includes a single-player mode for both games and Portal 2's co-operative game mode, playable via split-screen, local and online multiplayer.
Portal is Valve's first game on Switch, possibly due to it having been ported to Steam Deck, which will be released on 25th February.
The first game in the puzzle-platform series was released in 2007 and is still loved by gamers along with its sequel, which came out in 2011. Players seem to be quite excited about the games coming to Switch, although some question the price as the games often go on sale on Steam and are cheaper there.
There is no date for Portal: Companion Collection, but the games will cost $19.99.
