Post-Apocalyptic Survival Game Rooted Got Its First Trailer

Headlight Studio released a trailer for its upcoming post-apocalyptic survival game Rooted. The video reveals a bit of the story behind the game, as well as stealth and combat mechanics, and the beautiful environments created in Unreal Engine 5.

Rooted takes place in 2100 in the ruins of the past civilization that collapsed due to global bacteriological warfare. Explore an ancient overgrown world, salvage, build, craft, hunt, and try to survive in an evolving and fascinating post-apocalyptic environment.

Headlight Studio opened a Kickstarted campaign for the game, so you can support it there. There is no release date yet, but the Kickstarted page hints at 2024.
