Preview: Object Selection Tool in Photoshop

Adobe has shared a 2-minute sneak peek video showcasing the possibilities of the new tool. It will be placed at the top of the Quick Selection and Magic Wand tool group.

The tool will let users draw a selection in a photo (click-and-drag Marquee or Lasso selections) and an object will be selected automatically and precisely with the help of machine learning.

“It’s like it reads your mind and shrink-wraps the object with the selection,” states the team.

If you want to select two dishes, for example, just draw a box around then using the new tool. The team states that the tool will understand you and automatically select the plates you wish to highlight.
