A few days ago, footage from the canceled Prey 2, a canceled sequel to the 2006 legendary FPS, appeared online, but was quickly deleted by the uploader.
The surfaced footage offered a glimpse at the game's opening, demo playthrough, an early flythrough in an Undercity, and combat scenes. The clips reportedly featured the protagonist roaming the streets of the undercity, terrifying peaceful civilians with a gun at the ready.
Prey 2 focused on the story of a bounty hunter in an alien world Exodus, Killian Samuels, who has lost his memory. Believing that he was the only human on Exodus, he encounters Tommy, whom he had met during his time that was absent from his memories at the time. Killian continues his bounty hunting work as his memory gradually returns.

Before being canceled in 2014, Prey 2 underwent a lot of development struggles, with the rights to the game going from one publisher to another. The project, developed by Human Head Studios, was announced in 2006, but the work didn't start until 2009, when the rights to the game eventually went from 3D Realms to ZeniMax Media, Bethesda's parent company.
