Procedurally Animated Robotic Head Made With Houdini

Thanks to a custom Houdini setup, the model can automatically move based on an audio file.

Digital Animator, who goes by the name of Rich Lord, has recently shared a brief demo showcasing an incredible procedurally animated digital robotic head. Thanks to a custom Houdini setup created by the author, the head model can automatically move and talk based on an input audio file, with the developer calling it a "super fun way to avoid animation".

According to the head, which currently has no name, unfortunately, it was created without AI to be used for explaining videos on Rich Lord's TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

You can check out more of Rich Lord's projects by visiting the artist's website. Also, don't forget to join our 80 Level Talent platform and our Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
