Yes, the iconic battle royale game will be free to play on consoles and PC starting January 12, 2022. When PUBG: Battlegrounds transitions to the F2P model, it will introduce Battlegrounds Plus, an optional premium account upgrade that allows players to access a variety of new and exclusive in-game features:
