Quick Guide: Creating a Rolling Paper Effect in Adobe Illustrator

Design Spot has shared a new concise tutorial.

Freelance Designer and Adobe Community Evangelist known online as Design Spot continues to showcase neat techniques you can employ in Adobe applications, releasing a new quick tutorial on how to make your design roll like paper using Adobe Illustrator.

Easy even for beginners to understand, the method comprises adding and expanding a spiral, applying the Revolve effect via Effect > 3D > Revolve, mapping artwork to both sides of the roll, and adjusting settings in the Revolve dialog box to enhance the final look.
