Ali Eser, a Freelance Artist and one of the developers behind the upcoming co-op journey simulation game WE KILL MONSTERS, has shared a look at stunning real-time sand and water simulations set up in Unreal Engine 5. Running at 60 FPS on RTX 2070 SUPER, the simulations are attached to the character and only happen in a small radius around him, enabling the creator to "lower the sim resolution to as low as 256x256". According to Ali, the sims were made using Andras Ketzer's FluidNinja LIVE, a fast and responsive fluid simulation tool for character and environment VFX.
