Realistic Forest Creek Simulation Set Up in Blender

The artist has also shared a lengthy tutorial, explaining how the simulation was set up.

Over the past week, 3D/VFX Artist, Animator, and Illustrator Joshua Schwarz, a.k.a. Baerenjude, shared a collection of demos, showcasing an absolutely gorgeous fluid simulation that can easily be mistaken for a real-life recording.

Powered by Blender, the simulation depicts a highly-realistic woodland creek, complete with a beautiful forest environment made by Joshua using Quixel's assets. According to the creator, the simulation itself was set up using FLIP Fluids, a renowned liquid simulation add-on that gives you the ability to make high-quality cinematic fluid effects in Blender.
