Recently, details regarding Grand Theft Auto 5's story DLC and the possibility of Bully 2 have surfaced online. Since the release of Grand Theft Auto 5 in 2013, fans have eagerly awaited news of story DLC, following the success of Grand Theft Auto 4's memorable DLC stories like The Lost and the Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony.

With its diverse cast of three protagonists, Michael, Franklin, Trevor, and many other interesting side characters, it looked like GTA 5 would receive story DLC. However, as GTA Online gained traction and continued flourishing, Rockstar Games shifted its focus entirely to supporting and updating the online component, leaving fans wondering if the story DLC would ever come true. As Grand Theft Auto 5 celebrates its 10th anniversary and the anticipation for Grand Theft Auto 6 builds, Rockstar Games has announced plans to unveil GTA 6 in early December.

Now, some reports emerged, providing fans with insights into Rockstar Games' abandoned projects following the release of Grand Theft Auto 5. According to Hitmaker, a database file discovered within GTA 5 contains references to other Rockstar titles, including Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA 4, Midnight Club Los Angeles, and Bully 2, confirming the existence of a sequel to the 2006 open-world GTA-like game. The information also sheds light on plans for story DLC in GTA 5, featuring Trevor and jetpacks, which were ultimately repurposed into the Doomsday Heist mission for GTA Online.

Speaking of GTA, Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two Interactive, recently talked about the rise of generative AI, how it could make a game better, and shared why there would probably be no film adaptation for GTA.
