Redditor Reveals New Tool For Creating Blender Animations From Video

A Reddit user known as KaldrmMuhendisi is working on AI-driven software designed to generate 3D animations from video footage.

A Reddit user KaldrmMuhendisi shared a demo of their new software for producing Blender animations from video footage, powered by AI-based image processing technology.

While using two videos instead will result in a much cleaner animation, pure animation is generated from a single source given in the video. Relying on a single source always leads to flawed animation, but the aim is to minimize this issue. In this showcase, the developer cleaned up the animation themselves, choosing not to code it at the moment, so it could be handled manually by the animator.

According to KaldrmMuhendisi, even in its current state, this tool can comfortably be used in game development. After handling user inputs, documentation, and feedback, such as foot placement, they plan to release a demo version.
