It appears the studio might finally release a sequel one day.
Remedy announced they are working on a remaster of the classic Alan Wake which will launch this fall on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC (Epic Games Store).
The studio teamed up with publisher Epic to prepare the release and the two parties announced that Alan Wake Remastered will feature both of the game's expansions, support 4K resolution, and include a new commentary from creative director Sam Lake.
The original visuals have been slightly improved, including the character model of Alan Wake, cinematics, and more, to prepare the game for the current-gen consoles.
