Remember Your Perfect Summer with This Blender-Made Scene

LARK has completed their cozy project.

Remember your perfect summer, full of warmth, love, and cheer. 3D environment artist LARK has their own version of that memory, portrayed in their latest Blender project.

This scene, representing a nostalgic summer in the countryside of Japan, was built around the water simulation the creator presented earlier. Its gentle wind, bright sun, and vegetables cooling down in the bucket will bring back the most pleasant of memories.

"The "vegetables being cooled with well water" scene is my favorite of all the works I've created using fluid simulation. It was also a great experience to actually experience how lighting and compositing can improve the quality of the work," LARK said.

The environment was created using a variety of software, including Substance 3D Painter, After Effects, and RizomUV, and different Blender add-ons, like botaniq, Underwater Caustics Shader, and Geo-Scatter.

If you want to know how LARK made their fluid simulation, check out our interview with the creator.
