The revenue is estimated to be about $100,000.

CAPCOM

Resident Evil 2 sales on iOS brought $100,000 via in-app purchases since its launch on December 10, 2024.

According to Appmagic estimates and reported by Mobilegamer.biz, the game was at a discounted price of $10, sold around 9,500 copies, and brought its creators $95,000 from December 10 to January 8. Since January 9, the full price has been restored to $40, and the game's sales have made just over $7,000, with about 175 people buying it.

Reportedly, some other Resident Evil games, namely, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil Village, and Resident Evil 7, which had been brought to mobile, also underperformed. For instance, the iOS version of Resident Evil 4 had 8,833 buyers over a year after its launch and Resident Evil Village had approximately 7,500 customers. Resident Evil 7 attracted about 2,000 players over the two weeks, and 4,200 players as of now since its launch.
