Resident Evil 4 Remake & Death Stranding To Be Available on iPhone 15 Pro

Assassin's Creed Mirage is also coming sometime in 2024.

In case you missed it, Apple recently introduced its iPhone 15 series during the Wonderlust event, revealing that the novel iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models will feature a powerful A17 Pro chip, described by the company as the most significant GPU redesign in its history.

With six cores, this new chip delivers a remarkable 20% improvement in performance compared to its predecessor, offers the highest level of graphics performance ever seen in Apple devices, and introduces hardware-accelerated ray tracing for the first time, resulting in smoother graphics and more realistic lighting effects.

What's even more impressive is that these new models are seemingly capable of handling top-of-the-line video games with ease, as was revealed during the same event. According to Apple, the iPhone 15 Pro is set to offer a selection of AAA games, including native versions of Resident Evil 4 Remake, Resident Evil Village, Death Stranding Director's Cut, and Assassin's Creed Mirage.

Notably, this marks the first time an Assassin's Creed game will run natively on iOS, a feat that was previously available only through cloud streaming. The announcement also stated that while Resident Evil titles and Hideo Kojima's DS will be released later this year, Assassin's Creed Mirage is coming in the first half of 2024.
