In the wake of the Resident Evil 4 remake, Famitsu asked the fans about their favorite game, character, and scene in the franchise.

According to the survey, Leon Kennedy holds most players' hearts, followed by Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield. Here are the top 10 most-liked characters:

6. Albert Wesker
7. Ethan Winters
8. Rebecca Chambers

The most detestable character is Albert Wesker, with Nicholai Ginovaef and the Licker close behind.

Fans named Resident Evil 4 the best game in the series; the Resident Evil 2 remake took second place and the original RE2 – third. Meanwhile, the scariest title went to RE7, and the most terrifying scene was the baby monster from Village. The most surprising scene was the dog jumping through the hallway window from RE1.

Apparently, most people started their Resident Evil journey with the first game. Fans also said the story is the most appealing part of RE, followed by fear and character charm.
