Risk of Rain Returns: Remake Announced

The action roguelike is coming back with new Survivors and overhauled multiplayer.

Gearbox announced Risk of Rain Returns – a remake of the critically acclaimed action roguelike. The developer Hopoo Games promises a new beautiful design, different ways to play, unique loot combinations, new Survivors, overhauled multiplayer, and more.

"Slice, dice, and serve justice cold with the return of Chef, hold the front line and shield your team as Enforcer, or lay down a path of toxic sludge as everybody’s favorite purple monster: Acrid!"

You can team up with your friends in a group of four, choose from 15 Survivors with new abilities, and explore this diverse world. Selecting from more than 10 Artifacts and combining them will help you find new ways to enjoy the game.
