The sequel to Myst is coming out in June under a new coating.
The remake of the puzzle adventure Riven is almost upon us: its developer Cyan Worlds announced the release date – June 25. To get players into the right mood, the studio published a gameplay trailer to awaken their nostalgia and show off what to expect.
Cyan Worlds
Those who played the game back in the '90s know the drill: solve numerous intricate puzzles to unlock the secrets of Riven, a mysterious island-filled land on the verge of collapse. First released in 1997, it is a sequel to Myst, a similar in spirit game revolving around explorer Atrus who can write books that link worlds. Riven continues the story and asks you to free Atrus's wife.
Cyan Worlds
"Uncover a story of intrigue, betrayal, and a civilization teetering on the brink of collapse as you solve intricate puzzles to unlock the secrets of Riven. Built from the ground-up and expanded from the award-winning original game released in 1997."
