The Dead Rising series is loved by many, but it has been six years since the last game, and its fans are hoping to hear some good news from the developers. While Capcom has not shared any plans for the franchise, Windows Central's editor Jez Corden says he's heard the company wants to reboot it.
Under the tweet about Sony's Metal Gear exclusive deal, Corden said: "If you're a Dead Rising fan there might be something on the horizon for you too..." He then added there are talks of a reboot but "nothing concrete."
The first Dead Rising game was released in 2006, and the latest part got a Frank Rising DLC back in 2017. A reboot could be interesting to see, whether or not it's actually in development.
There aren't any details on the project yet, but you can follow Corden on Twitter to hear more. Also, don't forget to join our 80 Level Talent platform and our Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
