According to a recent report, Hellblade and Gears of War might be released for PlayStation in 2025.
Windows Central's Jez Corden said: "Hellblade 2, Age of Mythology, and potentially Gears of War 1 Ultimate Edition are slated for PlayStation 5 this year." This information came after the recent episode of NateTheHate podcast, in which he shared that Final Fantasy 7 Remake will launch on Xbox in 2025, while Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will come on the platform in 2026.
Also, titles such as Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and Halo: The Master Chief Collection will also be released on multiple platforms and launch on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. Jez Corden said their resources suggest these alleged announcements "are most likely true."
However, the majority of Xbox's upcoming titles will reportedly be exclusive to Xbox and Windows for some time. Versions for other platforms like PlayStation and Nintendo Switch will either be shipped on launch day or several months after.
Recently, Xbox announced a new Developer Direct 2025, which will provide an in-depth inside look at games coming to Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Game Pass this year. The event will feature another game that hasn't been revealed in the announcement.
