And they might be coming this year.
Activision
Transformers is a rich franchise that makes fans happy with movies, series, books, toys, and games. Soon, it will allegedly bloom again with two new titles.
According to a rumor on one of the Transformers forums, Microsoft Studios is working on two video game projects. Unfortunately, the author's sources didn't provide any further details, but they claim the games target this year.
As the person who posted it notes, Microsoft's involvement is curious as it bought Activision last year, and the studio has a history of publishing games in the series, including Transformers: War for Cybertron, Fall of Cybertron, Transformers Autobots, Transformers Decepticons, Revenge of the Fallen, and other titles. Players hope for remasters of the first two, but we'll see what the company has in mind in the future.
As usual, take the news as a nice potential opportunity but not the confirmed truth. Hopefully, Transformers will get what they want, but we'll have to wait for Microsoft's official statement.
Meanwhile, you can check out Transformers: Galactic Trials, an arcade racer that will definitely come out on October 11.
