There is also an alleged release window of 2025.
Bethesda
Last September, Bethesda's internal document from 2020 appeared online to let the community know the existence of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion's remaster or remaster. However, due to limited information and lack of official announcement, no one ever knew the status of the project, not to mention a potential release date. Now, it seems we'll get to know about them very soon.
As mentioned by YouTuber eXtas1s (spotted by Insider Gaming), The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion remake could be announced at an Xbox Direct event to be held next January. And more excitingly, the game might be released sometime in 2025.
But we need to keep in mind that this is non-official, so the chance is that it's a ripple that doesn't promise a big fish underwater.
Bethesda
Fans have been wanting a remake of the 2006 RPG, which received universal acclaim until a month after its launch, due to the release of the controversial yet profitable Horse Armour DLC. Since 2012, Skyblivion, a fan project that recreates The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion in the Skyrim engine in order to introduce the game to new viewers and loyal fans, has been in development.
In August, the TESRenewal modding group, the team behind Skyblivion, released a 20-minute gameplay video to give us peaks at the side quests of the mod. As to how this rumored official remake by Bethesda would affect the fan project, lead developer Rebelzize said that they would continue their work on Skyblivion even if there is an official remaster or remake.
The next installment of the 30-year-old franchise, The Elder Scrolls 6, has been under development for a few years and has entered early development since August last year. Regarding when it'll be released, it seems we are unable to have a certain anticipation yet. Last year, the CEO of Xbox and Microsoft Gaming, Phil Spencer, said it's "likely five-plus years away," which was followed by leaked internal documents saying it could be released in 2026 at the earliest.
