Runway Released a Stable Diffusion-Powered Tool to Replace Images

The Erase and Replace tool allows switching parts of images with a prompt.

Runway has released an Erase and Replace tool powered by Stable Diffusion that can change parts of images with whatever you tell the AI. All you need to do is erase the area and write a natural language description, the program will do everything else for you.

The company also released the model behind Erase and Replace, which you can find on GitHub. It's planning to launch more Stable Diffusion checkpoints, trained on Runway’s HPC cluster, in the future.

Runway provides AI tools, real-time collaboration, precision editing, and more. We've covered its Web-based machine-learning-powered video editor before.

You can try the studio's tools for free with limitations or get a Pro license for $15/month or $144/year. Team licenses cost $35/month and $336/year.

Check it out here and don't forget to join our Reddit page and our Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.

Add fully procedural dirt and filth to any material for a fast and beautiful result that is easily customised.
