Ryan James Smith's Fluid Solver Plug-in for UE5 Gets Upgraded

The new and improved version features "particle advection and proper sourcing".

Tech Art Director of Research and Development at Gearbox and Founder of Overdraw.XYZ Ryan James Smith has recently shared a couple of demos showcasing an upgraded version of the custom-made multigrid fluid solver plug-in, first shown back in late 2022.

Created with Unreal Engine 5.1, the enhanced plug-in features "particle advection and proper sourcing" and enables the creator to set up gorgeous real-time visual effects that run at around 60 FPS on an RTX 2080 GPU. According to the author, the solver is being made for a personal game project and will not be released upon completion.
