S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Is Officially Powered by Unreal Engine 5

Nanite and Lumen will help the developers boost the atmosphere. 

The official S.T.A.L.K.E.R. account on Twitter confirmed that the upcoming sequel will be powered by Unreal Engine 5. It appears that the game will utilize the engine's powerful Lumen and Nanite features to provide nice-looking lighting and more detailed locations.

For those of you who missed the news, the sequel to the legendary first-person shooter will is set for release in April next year and it will be an Xbox exclusive for 3 months. You can check out the latest gameplay trailer below.

Xbox shared the gameplay trailer for the game during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase in June. It appears the developers plan to keep the beloved atmosphere and boost the whole spirit using new technologies. What would like them to keep?
