Experimenting With Unity's Hair Simulation Tech

Sakura Rabbit continues demonstrating the capabilities of Unity's latest hair system.

Indie Game Developer Sakura Rabbit, known for creating a large variety of projects with Unity, has unveiled yet another stunning demo showcasing the capabilities of Unity's latest hair simulation system. Revealed as part of Unity's tech demo Enemies, the system is based on Alembic Cache and allows the artist to create gorgeous hairstyle meshes with realistic behavior and tons of customizable parameters, including length and the number of individual hairs. According to the creator, the system works with strand-based hair and is capable of running in real-time.
