The rules exclude even partially AI-made content.

Different companies take varying approaches to AI-created content. Comic Con International, the organizer of San Diego Comic-Con, an art show showcasing original drawings, paintings, sculptures, pieces of jewelry, and more, has also outlined the rules considering materials created by artificial intelligence for the 2026 event, saying that they are not allowed to be exhibited at the show.
The exhibition requirements state: "Material created by Artificial Intelligence (AI) either partially or wholly, is not allowed in the art show."
The news comes shortly after the show's organizers initially allowed AI-generated content to be displayed, though not sold, at the event. Following the announcement, they faced backlash from the audience and then revised the rules to prohibit AI-generated content altogether.
A similar approach, prioritizing human-made art over AI-generated content, was taken by a Japanese game studio, which tasked job seekers to draw something on the spot to confirm that the works they submitted in their applications were indeed created by them.
