Fallen Leaf Studio, the developer of the sci-fi horror game Fort Solis, is joining forces with Studios Extraordinaires to adapt the game into film and TV. The game follows engineer Jack Leary as he deals with an emergency on a Martian mining base. As the story unfolds, a mystery about the base's crew is revealed.

The game features voice talents like Roger Clark, Troy Baker, and Julia Brown. As for the upcoming project, there is no cast yet, as well as it's uncertain if the voice actors are part of the adaptation.

The creators also haven't specified if the project is a film adaptation or a TV series.

The game was developed by Fallen Leaf and Black Drakkar Games and published by Dear Villagers. Speaking of the studio that will bring the game to the world of cinema, this is the fourth project for Studios Extraordinaires. Their other projects include Aurora Noir, Expeditions, and Space Marshals.

"Fort Solis is the kind of clever science-fiction tethering on the brink of science-fact that will stay with you long after you step away from the screen. Each character in the small cast brings a unique perspective and depth to the story and we can't wait to bring its gripping narrative, cinematic setting, and stellar cast to life amidst the thrilling backdrop of the Martian frontier," stated André Hedetoft and Andreas Troedsson, the Co-founders of Studios Extraordinaires.

The game is built on Unreal Engine and was released in August. It is available on Mac, Windows, and PlayStation 5 platforms. The rating of the game on Steam is mostly positive, even though it is heading towards a mixed status. On Metacritic, Fort Solis received a score of 60 out of 100 from critics and 6.9 from players.
