Part of SpaghetMeNot's normalMagic.
To be honest, there's nothing "normal" about this. What you're seeing above is part of the Surface Insert modifier, which can either warp geometry to match the underlying surface or maintain the geometry's world position while blending it into the surface using masking.
SpaghetMeNot's normalMagic is currently in early access, with a full release planned for later this month. While there are no videos yet, you can dive into the full documentation here. More tools will be added over time, and if you purchase now, you'll automatically get upgraded to the Pro version upon release.
Controlling normals is crucial for producing high-quality 3D artwork. normalMagic provides powerful modeling capabilities and advanced control over mesh normals, so you can receive perfect boolean normals, seamless surface blending, as well as the ability to smooth and transfer normals with precision.
