See All The Crazy Things You Can Do In This Upcoming Adrenaline-Fueled Boomer Shooter

CYBRLICH and the Death Cult of Labor gets you busy.

CYBRLICH and the Death Cult of Labor is an upcoming first-person shooter by Cybrlich Studios and Polyhedra Games that we covered back in January. It features a unique visual style with hand-drawn graphics and an animated 2.5D perspective.

Recently, the developers have shared more footage to give us a chance to look at more aspects of its gameplay and mechanics. Let's take a look.

Firstly, it's made clear that everything in the game could be destroyed, including the mustard. This seems to be a perfect fit for its topic  — a satirical game about the horrors of corporate culture, capitalism, and shitty jobs, and you definitely need to let inner emotions out in a devastating way.

The game definitely has a humorous way of showing what it feels like to work for corporations. For example, daily tasks such as sending out emails can be quite intriguing, whether they are apologetic, angry, or phishing. Each email costs you 1/3 of your HP and mental health, so guess what? You can get killed by emailing after sending just three of them.

When you are in need to restore your mental health since it runs pretty low, as mentioned in our previous article, you can use weed to refill the bar. No way to light a match? Just use the convenient way, i.e., your sole, and see how the "YOLO" smoke out of the weed reminds you to live a life you want:

That's definitely not all of what the developers have shown off recently. If you enjoy these clips from this shooter, which draws inspiration from DOOM and UltraKill, feel free to follow the project on X/Twitter and add the game to your wishlist on Steam
