See What's New In Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom
Rotate Object is now available, along with new features for better layer organization, film-inspired presets, performance improvements, and more.
If Photoshop and Lightroom are your go-to tools for everyday image editing, you might be interested in some updates Adobe announced today. These changes aim to bring more intuitive workflows for creative professionals and help them iterate faster.
In Photoshop, the Rotate Object feature has officially moved out of beta and is now generally available. If you haven't seen it yet, it's an AI-powered tool that lets users transform 2D objects into rotatable 3D images. You can learn more about it in our article.
Layer Cleanup, first previewed at Adobe MAX back in October, is now available in Photoshop as well. It automatically tidies up your layers by renaming them and removing empty ones. Also, Firefly Boards now integrates smoothly with both Photoshop and Lightroom.
Lightroom's new Improved Search lets you find photos just by describing what you're looking for in your own words. There are also new film-inspired presets to add a nostalgic look to your projects, along with performance upgrades such as faster Assisted Culling, up to 5x faster slider responsiveness, and support for all Sony a7 V formats.
