According to Tom Henderson, at least three unannounced new games are currently in the works at SEGA.
From all the game trailers shared during last year's The Game Awards ceremony, one of the most memorable ones was, without a doubt, the one shared by SEGA, which managed to announce the revival of not just one, not two, but five classic franchises in less than 90 seconds.
With this trailer, the studio confirmed that they are working on new Jet Set Radio, Shinobi, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, and Crazy Taxi games and hinted that they might have even more games based on old-school titles in the works with a "and more" postscript.

The nature of said postscript has recently been addressed by industry insider Tom Henderson, who, in his new report, claimed that on top of the five aforementioned games, SEGA has at least three more titles in development.
The report indicates that SEGA greenlit a total of ten classic games for production between 2020 and 2021, including five announced at TGA 2023. As per Insider Gaming's sources, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Panzer Dragoon, and Sakura Taisen are also among the franchises set to receive new games, all currently in the early stages of development.
Unfortunately, details regarding the other two greenlit games remain undisclosed, with Henderson's report suggesting that 12 trademarks registered by SEGA in late 2023 may be a strong hint at the nature of these mysterious titles. In addition to Crazy Taxi, Shinobi, Jet Set Radio, and Streets of Rage, the list also features new trademarks for Alex Kidd, After Burner, House of the Dead, Outrun, Super Monkey Ball, Altered Beast Eternal, Champions Kid, and Chameleon, making it highly likely that the undisclosed duo is hiding somewhere in the list.
