SEGA Shared a Glimpse at a New Virtua Fighter Game

The preview concept video features a high-quality battle scene.

In December, SEGA announced a new game in the Virtua Fighter series, and recently, the developer shared a glimpse at the gameplay concept.

The video is a "special preview of the concept video" for the project. It was presented at the Consumer Electronics Show during the keynote speech by NVIDIA's founder and CEO, Jensen Huang. The creators state that it is "pre-development in-engine footage" and not actual gameplay. The video was created before development began, and the actual gameplay and characters may differ from what is shown.

The concept video depicts two Akira Yuki characters fighting in an urban environment. It features high-quality, smooth animations of the characters' diverse and dynamic movements with lifelike physics, along with a highly detailed background setting. The video has already received positive feedback from the audience, who noted the graphic fidelity of the footage. "If they somehow manage to get the animations to look even REMOTELY close to this in the final game, that'd be insane," reads one of the comments on YouTube.
