Setting Up Meaty Creature Legs With Houdini 19.5

The creator experimented with the software's Vellum-based Muscles & Tissue system.

Have a look at this impressive and extremely-lifelike walking simulation of meaty creature legs set up by Creature FX TD Anupam Awasthi.

Set up as part of the author's creature XPBD tests, the simulation was achieved with Houdini 19.5's Muscle Solver Vellum, Tissue Solver Vellum, and Skin Solver Vellum geometry nodes. According to the creator, Houdini's robust system has lots of new properties and options to explore, planning to share more experiments down the line.
