Silent Hill 2 Remake PS5 Size Revealed Ahead of Its Release

The game will be released shortly in October.

Bloober Team's Silent Hill 2 Remake, set to release shortly this month, is more than 50 GB in size – specifically, 50.535 GB.

Pre-load of the Standard Edition of the upcoming game will launch on October 6, and the release is scheduled for October 8. As for the Deluxe Edition, its pre-load is set for October 4, and the launch is scheduled for October 6.

Bloober Team attentively works on the visuals for the remake and recently shared that they added new visual effects, which include a 90s filter and the option to turn off the interface elements. It allows for a more immersive gameplay experience.

To improve the gaming experience, the studio also used a more immersive camera and performance capture to record the actors' bodies, facial expressions, and voices.

The release date for the remake of the renowned survival horror classic was confirmed in May, and later in September, it was announced that the game would launch on PC and PlayStation 5, leaving Xbox players waiting for at least a year. A new Immersion Trailer was revealed:
