The Sims competitor inZOI has been on every life sim lover's mind lately. This is what we all wanted from EA – an open world and realistic graphics, and KRAFTON delivers, at least in the videos it shows. If you want to see more, there is a new trailer for the game, teasing Zois' routines, weddings, fights, children, and lots of fun activities.
There are plenty of intriguing features in inZOI. It supports facial motion capture, a 2D-to-3D tool, and dynamic weather effects: your Zoi's clothes will gradually get wet if they go outside in the rain.
I have my reservations about the game (there is a reason why The Sims 4 shifted to more stylized character models and limited neighborhoods, after all), but it does look good in gameplay videos. The problem is I highly doubt all of inZOI's target audience has the powerful setups needed for all this glory. KRAFTON says you'll need Intel i5 10400 or AMD Ryzen 3600 paired with NVIDIA RTX 2060 with 8GB VRAM or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT, plus 12GB RAM minimum. Recommended requirements are Intel i7 12700 or AMD Ryzen 5800 with NVIDIA RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT and 16GB of RAM.
Will it work smoothly with these specs? I guess we'll see when it's out.
