Both models are now available for purchase.
Ultimate Nik, a 3D Character Artist, Animator, and an avid Skullgirls fan, has once again delighted the community of the beloved 2012 fighting game by bringing its 2D hand-drawn character sprites into the 3D world.
To pay tribute to the game – and showcase the amazing character models he's created – Nik has reimagined the idle, start-of-fight animations of Cerebella and Valentine in 3D, with the final result boasting such detail that it feels like the voice in your headphones is about to shout, "Ladies and gentlemen, it's SHOWTIME!" As for the software, the author utilized Blender to set up the sequence, the same software he used to create the models in the first place.
Speaking of the models, as mentioned above, both Valentine and Cerebella are available for purchase for use in personal projects. Compatible with Blender 4.0 and higher, each model comes fully rigged, with shader and outline toggles, multiple outfits, FK/IK limb controls with stretchy properties, and a host of other features. They're available for $20 each here and over here.
