The development team behind Skyblivion, a fan-made mod that remakes the entire The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion with the Skyrim engine, has recently shared a new devlog video, providing an update on the highly-anticipated game.
In the video, the devs revealed that the game's map of Cyrodiil is two-thirds of the way done, with six out of nine of its regions being finished and game-ready. Skyblivion's West Weald is currently the least polished location, with only 43 out of its 284 cells being completed, while the Nibenay Basin and Valley are both around halfway done.
Additionally, the team shared some graphs and info regarding the project's interior locations, 3D assets, mechanics, musics, and quests, demonstrating how much of the game is finished and which parts are still WiP:
At the moment, the team aims to release the mod in 2025 at the latest. You can learn more and contribute to Skyblivion by clicking this link.
