If you've ever wondered about the number of killable NPCs in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim but didn't want to invest the time in finding out yourself, you're in luck. A dedicated Skyrim enthusiast, known as amelix34 on Reddit, has recently shared a couple of interesting screenshots that showed just how many creatures and characters the Dragonborn needs to turn into ragdolls in order to desolate the province.

According to amelix34, they killed nearly everything that can be killed in the game, taking the lives of more than three thousand people, nearly a thousand undead, around 700 animals, 401 creatures, and even some daedra and Dwemer automatons sprinkled on top. The cumulative bounty amassed during this challenge exceeded 267,000 gold, a drop in the bucket in late game.

Notably, the author mentioned sparing two creatures during the challenge. The first was Shadowmere, the ghostly horse obtained through the Dark Brotherhood questline, spared due to its ability to respawn over time, making killing it utterly pointless. The second creature that the author gave mercy to was Paarthurnax, for obvious reasons.

Another noteworthy detail is amelix34's weapon of choice. While "killing everyone" is more of a Mehrunes Dagon or Molag Bal thing to do, the author opted to wield Meridia's Dawnbreaker for the mass elimination of NPCs. Whether it was chosen because of its enchantments or simply as a meme remains unclear.

It's worth mentioning that this isn't the first instance of amelix34 pushing Skyrim to its limits. Previously, the enthusiast also bought all the food and ingredients from major cities and used them all at the same time:
