It's buggy but it's here.
The team behind the co-op mod Skyrim Together Reborn has presented HogWarp – a multiplayer mod for Hogwarts Legacy.
The game was released on February 10, but the creators already have a test build ready. The mod should support up to eight people, focusing on "co-op and roleplay".
"Our aim is to figure out how to do the basics such as spawning characters with the player's appearance, animations and NPCs," mod maker Yamashi told PC Gamer. "We are not going to create any multiplayer specific content ourselves, we want to provide a stable framework so that people can enjoy the vanilla game and maybe extend it themselves later on."
Yamashi is working on HogWarp alone at the moment, but two members of the Skyrim Together team are "ramping up on the code base" and might join the project later.
You can try out the prototype of HogWarp if you subscribe to Yamashi's Patreon but be warned that right now, it is "very barebones and buggy". The modder hopes to produce a proof of concept within the month and a more polished version in several months.
