Solo Developer Marks Two Years of Progress on 3D Platformer Reytrieve Odyssey
Check out how the prototype evolved into a high-quality adventure.
Developer Egor Poskriakov has marked the second anniversary of the creation of 3D platformer Retryive Odyssey, reflecting on how far the project has come since its early days.
The developer shared that he didn't have a definite concept of the project when he started, but kept working, and the journey has now lasted two years in the making.
Inspired by the classics of the genre, Retryive Odyssey is a vibrant action-adventure, where you play as an android girl on a quest to retrieve mysterious data disks. She explores a vast, colorful world, making her way out of the laboratory, so if you enjoyed vibrant and energetic platformers such as A Hat in Time, Mario Odyssey, or Sonic, Reytrieve Odyssey is worth keeping an eye on.

The game's central mechanic centers around cartridges, switchable abilities attached to Rey's head that alter her movement and interactions with the world. Players can explore whimsical locations filled with humorous characters, collect mysterious data disks, and unravel the mystery of the broken world.
