Sony has revealed the list of March 2023's most downloaded games for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR2, and PlayStation VR in the US/Canada and Europe.
Both the US/Canada and EU PS5 and PS VR 2 charts have been dominated by horror titles lately, with many such games making it to the top three spots. Meanwhile, the US/Canada and EU PS4 charts feature multiple sports titles, with MLB The Show 23, WWE 2K23, and Resident Evil 4 being among the games that have secured their place in the top ten.
The Resident Evil 4 remake took the top spot on PS5 charts in all regions, while MLB The Show 23 and Hogwarts Legacy followed closely behind, taking second place in the US/Canada and Europe, respectively. Meanwhile, in the US and Canada, Hogwarts Legacy took third place, with Grand Theft Auto V claiming the third spot in Europe.
On the PlayStation 4 charts, Minecraft has emerged as the most downloaded game across all regions. MLB The Show 23 grabbed the second spot in the US and Canada and EA Sports UFC 4 took the No.2 place in Europe. NBA 2K23 came in third place in the US and Canada, while FIFA 23 claimed the third spot in Europe.
As for PlayStation VR2 titles, Pavlov has been the absolute winner across all regions, topping the charts in the US, Canada, and Europe. Following closely behind, The Dark Pictures: Switchback took second place in the US and Canada, with Kayak VR: Mirage claiming the second spot in Europe. Kayak VR: Mirage also secured the third spot in the US and Canada, while The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution managed to grab the third spot in Europe.
Among the most downloaded PS VR titles were Beat Saber, which took the first spot in both the US/Canada and Europe, and SUPERHOT VR, which secured second place in both regions. Job Simulator claimed the third position in the US/Canada chart, while Batman: Arkham VR came in third in the European chart.
Fortnite was the most popular free-to-play game in both regions. It was followed by Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 and Apex Legends in the US/Canada and Rocket League in Europe.
