Sony's Upcoming FPS Concord Ranked 750+ in Most Wishlisted Upcoming Steam Games

We're less than a month away from the release of Concord, a multiplayer first-person shooter developed by Firewalk Studios, for the PlayStation 5 and PC, set to launch on August 23. However, with just over 4000 wishlists and a rank of 783 on Steam's most wishlisted upcoming games, the game's future doesn't seem particularly promising.

Firewalk Studios, an American game development studio owned by Sony Interactive Entertainment since 2023, announced their latest PVP multiplayer FPS Concord at last year's PlayStation showcase. Set in a vibrant sci-fi universe, the game underwent an additional year of development before its open beta test on July 20.

Feedback from players who joined the beta test was mixed. While some praised the developer's decision not to introduce a Battle Pass to the $40 game, many were less optimistic. Comments on the game's official Twitter account ranged from "DOA" to worries that the game wasn't a finished product. Some even called it "a waste of time and resources."

Despite the not-so-impressive numbers on Steam, some players argue that Concord is doing well, pointing out that it ranks among the top 50 most pre-ordered games on the PlayStation Store for the UK. Well, with less than a month to go until the game's launch, we won't have to wait long to see how its release will perform.
